Why did you send me a link to site xyz ?

Any email you receive will be sent by someone who knows your email address. If you do not want to be contacted by this person, you can contact our support to request a block. Please note, block requests can take up to 72 hours to complete.

What is Linkped's policy on spam ?

We take a very strong stance against spam. We will take all measures necessary in order to prevent it from being sent on our systems. If spam happens to sneak through, please contact our support. User accounts suspected of sending spam will be closed with no questions asked.

Is there a limit on how many links I can send ?

Yes. In order to combat spam, we are forced to limit the number of links you can send per day. Accounts come with a 20 links per day limit. If you sign up for your account using OpenID, you will receive an extra 10 links per day!

Can I buy more links per day ?

Presently, we only offer 1 standard account that is free to all users. In the future, we may change this.

Can I send links with adult content ?

Yes. Linkped doesn't look at the content of the links besides title and the URL. It's up to you to select if the item is "Not Safe For Work" (NSFW). While some might find a link offensive, others will not. Linkped will not get involved with the content of a link. This is left up to the sender. Keep in mind though, we take a strong stance against spam and attempts to compromise our system or others.

My friend sent me a link that I found offensive, what can I do ?

You can contact our support to have your email address blocked from them sending you any futher messages.
